articles for your business at home, that's easy to say but not so easily done. For most people writing does not come easy. Some people are born with the ability to be good writers, but most of us have to learn how it's done.
I have often said, if you can carry a good conversation with a group of friends, you can write copy for your business. When talking with friends you are talking about things you have in common, things you enjoy talking about.
No different when writing copy for your business. When you work at home your friends are out there on the internet. The people you are talking to have the same things in common as you do, at least that is the audience you want to target. It doesn't matter what business your in you talk to people with the same interests.
The only difference in talking to a group of close friends and to people on the internet is, it's a one way conversation. So your writing needs to be informative, easy to read. Your content should be chock full of valuable information.
When you work at home, write your own articles for your business at home it would good to first, create an outline for the subject you will be writing about. What you consider to be the most valuable points in your article should be discussed first. It's like a headline in a newspaper, it draws attention and that's what your reader wants to see first.
Then choose three or four other valuable points to discuss. These points should carry the the theme thru out your article. The theme of your article is your title. It is important that you don't stray from the theme. You don't want to appear to be rambling.
A nice tidy article is between four hundred and six hundred words long with short crisp, clear and value packed paragraphs. Writing in this manner will keep your readers interested.
Short paragraphs with double spacing leaves lots of white space, your articles will be easier on the eyes. The value in each paragraph will keep your readers looking for more.
An article that is too short is in danger of not providing enough value to your readers. You also need to help your readers to understand you really are a professional who cares about them. An article is too long when your reader losses interest and hits the refresh button before the end of your article.
